Clean My Inbox is a Gmail add-on that helps you clean up your inbox by showing your top senders and letting you archive their emails in one click. We believe in minimal data collection and full transparency about how your information is handled.
Waitlist: When you join our waitlist, we collect your email address. That's it. No name, no phone number, no tracking cookies.
Gmail add-on: The add-on reads email metadata (sender addresses, subjects, dates) to group and rank your senders by volume. It does not read, store, or transmit the body of your emails to any external server.
Waitlist email addresses are stored in a PostgreSQL database hosted on Railway, a secure cloud platform.
The Gmail add-on caches sender data locally in your own Google account using Google's
CacheService with a 6-hour time-to-live (TTL). This data never leaves your account
and is automatically cleared by Google after the TTL expires.
The add-on requests the following OAuth scopes, each for a specific purpose:
The add-on only uses these permissions for the features described above. It never modifies your emails beyond archiving (moving out of inbox) and labeling.
We do not share your data with any other third parties.
We use Google Analytics (GA4) to understand how visitors use this website — for example, which pages are visited and how users find us. Google Analytics uses cookies to collect anonymous, aggregated data. No personally identifiable information is collected through analytics.
We do not use Facebook Pixel, retargeting, or any advertising trackers. There are no ads on this website. You can opt out of Google Analytics by installing the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.
You can request deletion of your waitlist email at any time. You can uninstall the Gmail add-on at any time, which immediately revokes all permissions. Cached data will be automatically cleared by Google.
